Founder and Executive Editor
EdInk is written by Linda Lee Baird, an award-winning writer, educator, and editor. Linda founded EdInk because, as a Columbus City Schools parent, she saw a need for clearer information about local education issues. She has worked for education-focused nonprofit organizations in Columbus, Boston, and New York City, and her writing has appeared in publications including U.S. News and World Report, Vital City, Columbus Monthly, Matter News, MUTHA, Edible Columbus, and (614) Magazine, where she is the former editor-in-chief. Linda was a participant in the Google News Initiative’s 2023 Pre-launch Lab, which supported the launch of EdInk. She has a B.A. in writing from Sarah Lawrence College, and a M.Ed from Lesley University. Her personal website is lindaleebaird.com, and you can contact her here.
